What is the inspiration behind your piece?: THE BEACH...THE BEACH...THE BEACH...and happenstance. As I said, a Henri Cartier-Bresson moment.

What is the inspiration behind your piece?: It is a story about the Mannequins coming alive after the store has closed. It is based on my childhood imaginings that the manneqins in the store did just that. I was pretty sure I could see them move out of the corner of my eye.

What is the inspiration behind your piece?: This piece is inspired by the shape of the bone! I have always been attracted to spiritual things or items that I find. Jophiel I am calling this angel based on the name is from ancient archangel of creativity, beauty and art. What is the inspiration behind your piece?: Discovering new images and techniques is an exciting journey and inspiration for me; and is comparable to looking through a looking glass. I never know what is going to unfold.

What is the inspiration behind your piece?: This piece is an experiment in highly refined mixed media madness. Inspired by Through The Looking Glass, this work pushes the limits in more ways than one. The creative use of materials and unique imagery are directly inspired by the prompt. The idea was to reimagine the cat Alice converses with and to consider the thought of her possibly meeting the cat in the first chapter as some kind of guardian of the looking glass. This work is highly imaginative and was an absolute pleasure to create.

What is the inspiration behind your piece?: Shifting Sands and Other Poems is inspired by the ebb and flow of the ocean edges and the ebb and flow of life experiences. Words peep through the surface of the canvas hinting at the confluence of meaning and mystery.,

What is the inspiration behind your piece?: I find joy in discovering and rediscovering Florida’s beauty and capturing that beauty in photographs. Within just a few minutes to less than a half day’s travel, one can explore the natural beauty of  beaches, coastal dunes, mangroves, swamps, springs, wetlands, pine forests, scrubs, hardwood hammocks, rivers, lakes, and marshes.

What is the inspiration behind your piece?: My art was inspired by one of Alice's quoted "Who in the world am I?" I wanted to create a whimsical Queen and added Spanish Moss for hair. The scientific name for Spanish Moss is "Tillandsia Usneoides" therefore she became "Queen Tillandsia"
