Ann Van Deusen

Ann moved to Ocala 24 years ago and was immediately pulled to the Silver River State Park.  In her art, she endeavors to capture some of the beauty encountered there.  It wasn't until recently that she found a medium that felt expressive enough to represent some of what she sees.

My art is about using the light in interesting reflective ways by utilizing translucent materials and other organic items to create sometimes earthy, sometimes whimsical scenes.
