Cathy Burnside

Cathy considers herself to be a crafty, whimsical artist. Art has become her therapy after losing her very best friend and the love of her life, her husband to a heart attack.   In the new chapter in her life as a single, widowed woman, she is looking to discover what comes next. Art has opened many new doors for her and she has found a new interest in art history. She loves abstract art. Graffiti is also something she is very interested in. 

Plastic bags are everywhere. What can I do as a concerned citizen of Mother Earth? I will commit to using less plastic bags and use the ones I already have in my artwork. Maybe I can convince others to follow me. I will keep researching ways to use plastic in art and new creative ways to use less in the rest of my life. And I will donate 20% of the sale of artwork to a worthy cause for cleaning up our oceans.
